Characteristics of Pressureless Sintered Silicon Carbide Ceramic Materials

Pressureless sintered silicon carbide ceramics are made from high-purity, ultra-fine silicon carbide powder, with a small amount of sintering aids added. They are sintered in an inert gas or vacuum atmosphere at high temperatures of 1950-2100℃, resulting in products that are almost completely dense and possess excellent mechanical properties. Pressureless sintered silicon carbide ceramics include products such as bushings, sliding bearings, mechanical seals, flat rings, sandblasting nozzles, bulletproof plates, ceramic heating plates, ceramic heat spreaders, 3D glass bending grinding tools, and ceramic plates for microchannel reactors.
